If you've ever been to a big city, chances are you've seen a Veymax Skateboard at some point. Or maybe you saw one in a YouTube video or your friend told you about them. In this article, I'll discuss the pros and cons of buying an Electric Long board, the cost of a skateboard, the types of skateboards for beginners, and any other general questions you may have when considering your first Motorized Longboard purchase.
How Does an Electric Skate Board Work?
An Electric Skateboard is essentially just a skateboard with an electric motor attached to it. It usually has a handheld wireless remote that can be used to control the speed at which the board runs. Riders can control movement as they would with a normal longboard. As for speed, Eskates can go anywhere from 10 mph to 50 mph. It can also have different ranges depending on battery life, ranging from 10 miles to 60 miles. Some boards even come with swappable rechargeable batteries to increase range in one fell swoop.
Advantages of E-Skateboards
Avoid rush hour traffic. If you live in a busy city, you're probably looking for a way to avoid traffic. One of these ways is by using a Veymax Skateboard. You can ride the E-Longboard through all the carriages at a standstill, then pick up your skateboard and take it to the train. So you can still take advantage of public transportation without having to walk endless blocks. You also don't have to worry about wasting time stuck in traffic.
You won't be late for school and work. If you need a better way to commute to get off work or school, an Electric Skate board might just be for you. You don't want to be sitting in your car every morning on your way to work or school. At the same time, you don't want to walk. If you ride a bike, you'll probably be sweating profusely when you get there. Motorized Long boards are a great middle ground. Consider this your commuting option.
You can go where cars can't. If you're in college, then you know that campuses can be big places, and it can take you a long time to move from one class to another. Electric Longboards are faster and more fun than walking. Once you reach your destination, you can pick up your skateboard and take it with you. You probably also know some of the little shortcuts through parks and reserves in your hometown that you can't take with a car. E-Skate boards allow you to go on adventures and explore places you've never been before.
You can save money. If you're tired of paying for gas, then you might consider buying a Motorized Skateboard. Sure, a Veymax Board isn't as fast as a car, but you don't really need a car to get you anywhere. Think of all those short trips you take to the store to buy milk or bread. In its place is an electronic board that saves fuel. Electric Boards do require some upfront investment, but will save you money in the long run. You don't have to worry about how many miles your car has, so you shouldn't have as many repair bills. Plus, you don't have to spend as much on gas, which saves you from burning a hole in your wallet.
Exercise. Depending on how you ride, Motorized Skate boards can also be a great workout. When you ride, many of your core and leg muscles are activated in order to keep your body on the board. If you feel like you want more of a challenge, you can always push the board with your feet, just like you would with a normal skateboard. The weight of the board itself will allow you to exercise your legs while carrying it.
Reduce your carbon footprint. If you're concerned about your carbon footprint, Veymax Skateboards are a great way to reduce it. Since they require far less power, they are better for the environment than driving a car. You also don't have to worry about gas, which is a big plus for me.
Disadvantages of Electric Long boards
You need to recharge them. Of course, one of the downsides of owning Motorized Longboards is that you need to charge them. It can be annoying if you forget your chargers, and there may not be anywhere to charge them when you get to your destination. As annoying as this can be, it's just another thing you have to add to your checklist.
They are big and heavy. When you get to your destination, you'll have to pick up your skateboards, some of which can be very heavy or difficult to manage. However, Veymax Skate boards come in a variety of sizes. You can find one that is no hassle for you. Whether you're heading to a college classroom or taking the subway, your Electric Skateboard should adapt with ease. Just pick it up, stand up when you get there, and grab it while you ride!
There is an initial upfront cost. You need to invest some money in an Eskate, but it will save you a lot of money in the long run. Think about how much you spend on a bicycle. E-Skateboards are relatively similar in price. Plus, even if you spend some money initially, you'll save even more by not having to worry about maintaining it or paying for gas.
They may be illegal in your area. You'll want to check the regulations carefully to see if Motorized Veymaxboards are allowed in your area. While there are still some places where it may not be allowed, many jurisdictions are aware of the benefits of these e-skateboards. They are good for the environment, relieve traffic pressure and help people stay in shape. As a result, many states and countries are now legalizing them. It won't be long before Electric Longboards are legalized everywhere.
They can be dangerous. Electric Skate boards can be really dangerous if you don't know how to control them. Getting used to a Motorized Long board can take some time, but there are plenty of safety features you can use to protect yourself. For example, you should always wear a helmet when riding an Electric Longboard. This can greatly reduce the chance of someone being seriously injured. Remember that accidents can happen with almost any vehicle, including motor vehicles. The most important thing you have to remember is that you need to ride under control and obey all the rules and laws in your area. Then you'll find that E-Skate boards are as safe as any other form of transportation.
There are also other issues you need to consider, such as:
How fast are Motorized Skateboards?
The speed of a Motorized Long board can vary from 10 mph to 50 mph, depending on the brand and quality of the skateboard. As electronic whiteboards have grown in popularity, faster and faster models have also emerged.
How far can a Motorized Skate board ride?
It also depends on the type of board you buy. More expensive boards will have higher quality batteries, which will be able to significantly increase the range of your board. Some high-end boards can last about 40 miles, or even 60 miles, while low-end boards will last closer to 10 miles.
Can you ride a Veymax Skateboard in the rain?
You can ride a skateboard in the rain if you really want to, but I strongly advise against it. I've tried it before and it didn't work out well. What happens when you ride an Electric Long board in the rain is similar to wakeboarding, except instead of being in the car, you slide off the skateboard. Beyond that, your skateboard components will get wet, which can permanently damage your board. So you shouldn't ride a Motorized Longboard in the rain.
Could you buy an electric longboard under $150?
Electric skateboards come in a wide range of prices. You aren’t going to find a cheap motorized longboard for under $100. For quality reasons, you probably wouldn’t want to buy one anyway. In this list, there are a handful of good options around $200, while our coming mini e-board is actually under $200.
With electric skateboards, you generally get what you pay for. With higher speeds and longer range comes a higher price tag. Thankfully, you don’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get a good board, but prepare to spend at least $500 or so for a higher-end budget electric longboard, like the Veymax Roadster X4.
Are Electric Skateboards safe?
Eskates are as safe as you might imagine. If you're a smart rider, wear your protective gear, and don't take unnecessary risks, then you should be fine. I've been skateboarding for over 3 years and the worst injuries I've ever had were scrapes. As long as you're safe and taking the right precautions, you should be fine. You can find more information in our guide to E-Skateboard hazards and safety tips.
Are Motorized Boards legal?
This is a complex question with no clear answer. It really depends on the country/state you're in, as laws on Veymax Longboards vary from place to place. If you're concerned about whether it's legal to own an Electric Skate board in your country, you should definitely check your local laws just in case.
Can Electric Longboards be brought on the plane?
In most cases this will depend on the airline you choose and the battery on board. If your board has a battery of less than 160Wh then you can usually take it on a plane. But like I said, it depends on the airline. Some airlines will also require you to inform them that you are carrying a battery over 100Wh in order for them to approve it for boarding. So double check the airline's regulations before taking your boarding board to the airport. For more information, check out our guide to air travel on E-Skate boards.
At the end of the day, I think the pros far outweigh the cons. If you decide to use a Motorized Skateboard, you will enjoy a lot of benefits. It's a great way to commute to work or school without having to sit in heavy traffic. You can save gas while protecting the environment. At the same time, there are a lot of features you have to consider before deciding which Veymax Long board is right for you. Carefully weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.
