What is the history of the simplest of surfing?

Only a few decades ago, someone thought to put a wing on the ordinary board and gave the world windsurfing. Another decided to remove the wing and replace it with a parachute, and mankind got kite-surfing. In 2017, a couple of guys from Puerto Rico came up with the idea to remove the kite and replace it with an electric motor with a fin above the hydrofoil. And here it is today's electric powered surfboard.

And even on the contrary, its absence, as well as that of waves, is preferable. The battery lasts up to 60 minutes and charging takes about 2 and a half hours.

The feeling of floating above the surface of the water is indescribable, the speed increases, the noise of the water disappears completely and you are left alone with the silence and your beating heart.
