Surfing is undoubtedly a very fun sport, but it is not only difficult to master, but also exhausting. Sometimes you paddle for hours before you are ready to catch the next wave. So what are the alternatives on the market? Well, I had the opportunity to try out a brand new innovation designed to catch the attention of those who already love surfing and want a change of pace, or who have not quite mastered surfing and want to experience the thrill effortlessly. Veymax e-surfboards are innovative e-surfboards. It's basically a cross between a surfboard and a jet ski, so it's an electric surfboard.
What does an electric surfboard look like?
The idea of electric powered surfboards is simple: they allow us to surf without wind and waves. With a motorized board you can experience in a very short time what it is like to surf at a higher level.
I can easily say that it is one of the most exciting things I have ever done on the sea, and by far the best water sport I have ever tried. But when you are standing in the ocean with your feet and an unsteady footing on a board, in addition to the natural motion of the sea beneath you, it feels like you are going much faster and putting your life in danger…. However, this fear can be easily transformed into enthusiasm, since thanks to the variable speed trigger of the Electric Surfboard you are always able to control the speed at which you advance, and with a simple push you can slow down the pace a bit or even speed it up.
With the electric powered surfboard, you can surf like a pro even on calm waters.
After a few tries, I used this control to my advantage and deftly released it to slow the electric surfboard down a bit when I wanted to meander and tack across the ocean. It's the little things like this that make you feel like a pro. It was my fourth time surfing, and I already felt like I knew what I was doing. It's easy to master and a lot of fun.
How does an electric surfboard work?
The Veymax electric surfboard works in a very simple way. There is no sophisticated technology, but that's where the innovation comes in. It is made of carbon fiber, is as light as it is sturdy, and has a compact integrated electric motor.
The electric powered surfboard's motor is powered by a removable lithium-ion battery that is inserted into the body of the electric surfboard. The battery supplies power to the built-in motor and drives the jet propulsion system.
As I mentioned earlier, the e-surfboard is accelerated through the water via the remote control, which is attached to the front of the tether. The resulting thrust generates maximum speed. Depending on your riding style and speed, you can ride the electric surfboard for an average of 90 minutes. Thank you to the removable battery system, a dead battery can easily be replaced with a new one if you have a spare.
Still, electric surfing at such a speed can be a very tiring experience, especially for beginners (and for me too) it can be quite exhausting. Usually you need a break after 15 minutes.
