Start on Veymax X4

Whether you're cruising around town or looking for a last-mile solution from the subway to work. The Veymax Roadster X4 series will be your best choice. Equipped with taillights, anti-collision bars and a remote control with an LED display, the X4 series offers a fast, eco-friendly and stylish transportation option for riders who want to reach their destination in style.

Here's a quick and easy guide on how to get started and continue using your Veymax Roadster X4.

How to set up your X4?

First, make sure your Electric Skateboard is fully charged and ready to go. The Roadster X4 series uses a charger to connect to a regular wall socket and takes only 2.5-3.5 hours to charge.

Just like riding a normal skateboard or bike, it is highly recommended that you wear a helmet while riding, especially since the X4 Series Electric Skateboard can reach speeds of up to 29 mph. To turn on the motorized skateboard, please turn on the power button on the board, and then press and hold the power button on the remote control for 3 seconds to turn it on. Just like that, your Veymax Roadster X4 is ready to ride. To accelerate, just turn the accelerator on the remote control, push forward to go forward and pull back to brake.

In addition, in addition to being familiar with the X4 series manual and remote control, you also need to make some preparations before starting to ride an e-skateboard: wear safety equipment.

How to get started on Veymax Roadster X4 Electric Skateboard?

Before you get on a skateboard (electric or normal), you need to put on the right gear. These include a proper helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads. Wrist injuries are common in boarding because when you fall, you're likely to reach out with both hands to catch yourself. Head injuries can be serious, so be sure to wear a comfortable helmet.

If you have experience riding a normal skateboard and don't have much gear already, we highly recommend replacing it. Because electric longboards are very fast, they are more dangerous than normal skateboards, and you need more and more professional equipment to protect you to ensure that you can always ride an electric skateboard. The type of shoes you wear also matters. It's best to choose closed-toed shoes that cover your feet (no sandals). Cushioned shoes can even help reduce the effects of road vibrations felt on your legs.

Now, you can start riding your X4. Just remember these 5 simple steps:

Step 1: Make sure the skateboard is on a flat and smooth surface. Before you get on the board, you can apply the brakes to prevent your wheels from spinning. Or you can hold your hands against a wall for balance. Step out onto the deck and move your feet to find the right position and position until you feel comfortable.

Step 2: Make sure your knees are slightly bent to lower your center of gravity. As you lean forward, slowly release the brake and then the accelerator. You may feel a slight vibration when the motor starts, but this is normal on many electric skateboards.

Step 3: By now you are probably inching along. Keep your balance and before you get too excited you need to learn how to brake.

Step 4: Brake. On the Veymax X4 skateboard, you pull back on the thumbwheel to start braking until the board comes to a complete stop. In addition, we also recommend that you release the brake after the skateboard stops and get off the board. Remember to lean back when doing this to prevent yourself from being thrown forward. Do this over and over again until you feel the acceleration and braking force in each mode.

Step 5: Turn. Turning requires the use of the toes and heels and varies depending on stance. If you are in a normal stance, you will turn to the right when you apply force on your toes, and you will turn to the left when you apply force on your heels. If you're in a goofy stance, the opposite is true. When you want to turn to the toe side, rest your weight on your toes and apply some pressure to the edge of the deck. To maintain your center of balance, you can bend your knees slightly while doing this. To turn to the heel side, you need to lean into your heels and apply pressure to the outside edge of the deck.

Notice: An important rule to remember is to lean your weight forward onto your front foot as you accelerate. When you brake, lean back over your back foot. When you lean forward, you offset some of the inertia created by acceleration. The same goes for when leaning back while braking.

For first-time riders, it is recommended that you accelerate slowly before going forward, as the powerful engine may cause you to lose your balance if you are not prepared for the initial kick.

Now you know how to ride the Veymax Roadster X4 Series and experience the fun of e-skateboarding! When you ride the stylish and compact X4 series electric skateboard by VEYMAX, you can enjoy cruising 13~18 miles and a top speed of 29 mph.
